Coffee Chat Mentorship Program

WIF is excited to offer a Coffee Chat Mentorship Program for Spring 2023! Instead of having just one mentor, students will have the opportunity to be paired up with multiple upper-year students and alumni throughout the term! Students will have a chance to learn about a variety of fields and receive support for advancing their finance journey.
Both new and past applicants are welcome. We will be accepting female University of Waterloo students in any year/program that are interested in launching a career in finance. Apply by 6pm EST on Tuesday, May 23rd if you’re interested—spots are limited and acceptances will be made on a rolling basis, so apply ASAP! |

Are you interested in learning about investment management and finance? Do you want to hear from professionals working at a leading pension plan? UW WIF is excited to announce that we have partnered with HOOPP to host an in-person event in their downtown office! The event features a speaker panel and a chance to network with HOOPP professionals working in their Finance and Investment Management divisions.
Students will have the opportunity to meet Jason Pearlstein, Timothy Li, Samantha Cameron, Safiya Bannister, Nancy Borges, and Nisha Mistry, who all have unique positions across different investment management groups, and many insights to share! |
