On February 25, UW WIF had the pleasure of hosting the Pathways in Finance Virtual Conference for students at University of Waterloo who identify as female and are interested in pursuing a career in the finance industry. Invited firms and industry leaders spoke about market trends, their respective areas and roles, and much more! Our conference began with an inspiring keynote from Barbara Stewart, an experienced finance professional, author and researcher specializing in women and finance. The keynote was then followed by two informative firm sessions hosted with Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and RBC Global Asset Management, a Sustainable Finance Panel and two more firm sessions hosted with Disruption Ventures and TD Securities.
